Vegan Pumpkin Ale Bread


I just love everything pumpkin so I thought it might be fun to incorporate pumpkin ale into a dessert. Because I’m a pumpkin lover, I like to enjoy this treat with pumpkin chai. This pumpkin ale bread uses no eggs, so you can share it with your vegan friends.  

Vegan Pumpkin Ale Bread

This pumpkin ale bread is a delicious treat for the fall and winter holidays. You could also pour the batter into mini loaf pans or muffin pans to make individual treats to give out as gifts.

  • 9”x5” loaf pan
  • Large Bowl


  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • ¼ cup coconut oil melted
  • 12 oz pumpkin ale


  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a loaf pan with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  • Add in pumpkin puree, maple syrup, coconut oil, and pumpkin ale. Stir until well combined.
  • Pour batter into loaf pan. Bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 55 minutes. Allow to cool.
